Crime Note: Pissing off the president

An individual was warned for urinating in public near the residence of University President Mary Sue Coleman, according to a post on the daily incident log of the University's Department of Public Safety.
A DPS officer approached a male urinating in a row of bushes at the President's Residence at 815 S. University at about 2:13 a.m. Tuesday morning, DPS spokeswoman Diane Brown said in an interview today. The subject was not issued a citation.
Brown did not know if President Coleman was at the residence at time of the incident, or if she alerted police to the urinating subject.
